Foundation

Founded in January 1992 by the Discepolo family and the Vico Equense town council, the Discepolo Foundation is an example of successful collaboration between the private and public sectors.

It is a non-profit organization, the purpose of which is to: “promote the study and dissemination of the natural, physical, environmental sciences, and to enhance public awareness and enjoyment of the natural, historical, artistic, anthropological and architectural treasures, as well as anything of a cultural nature, anywhere in the Vico Equense area, the Sorrento Peninsula and Campania as a whole.”
